Meet the Cast of Stronger Together

Macayla Paris

Macayla is delighted to be a part of Stronger Together with Suitcase Theatre and to be sharing this important message across the province. 

She would like to thank Tyler, Tristan, The Suitcase Theatre team, The George Hull Centre, and her incredible friends in the company.

Previously, Macayla trained at Sheridan College’s Music Theatre performance program. Some credits include her directorial debut of A Time of Future Tales in The Hamilton Fringe Festival this past summer, Jenny in The Threepenny Opera (Theatre Sheridan), Tess/Violet 2 in In Real Life (CMTP festival), Saint Zita in Heresy (Paprika Festival 2019) dancing her heart out in On the Town and Crazy For You (Theatre Sheridan) as well as performing in the 2018 Dora Awards (Winter Garden Theatre).

She would also like to thank her incredible support system: Mom, Dad, Skylar, Ben, Steve, Scout, her amazing family and friends, and her mentors along the way. 

Benjamin Todd

Benjamin feels privileged to work with Suitcase Theatre on Stronger Together! He is a Toronto based actor, singer and comedian originally from Fort McMurray Alberta. In the summer of 2016 he had the chance to write and perform his one-man comedy show called Beautiful City: #YMMStrong, filled with personal anecdotes and stories of growing up in Fort McMurray.

He would like to thank the Suitcase Theatre team for this wonderful experience! Other Credits Include: Chelsea Sunrise (CMTP/ Theatre Passé Muraille) The Producers, (The LOT) Crazy for You, Cradle Will Rock, Trapdoor, Senza Luce (Theatre Sheridan).

Erin Humphry

Erin has been living, creating, and goofing around in Toronto for the past 5 years. This is her first time ever being a Stage Manager/Swing and she is so thankful to be able to do it with such an awesome company and creative team. Previous theatre credits include Breathing Corpses (Coal Mine Theatre), Bombers: Reaping the Whirlwind (4th Line Theatre), 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Hart House Theatre), Beneath the Bed (Theatre Born Between),and A Wake for Lost Time ([elephants] Collective).

Erin is passionate about spreading education and awareness around mental health and cannot wait to share this fun, silly, and important piece.

Jordan Kenny

Jordan is beyond excited to be stage managing/swinging for Suitcase Theatre’s production of Stronger Together. He would like to thank his long time friends Tyler Check and Tristan Hernandez for allowing him to help spread the word on mental health to today’s younger generation. Jordan is a graduate of Sheridan College’s music theatre production program class of 2016. Select theatre and film credits include Dr. Craven in The Secret Garden in Concert (Bryant Productions),  Percival in The Enlightenment of Percival von Schmootz (Theatre Sheridan), Graham in Living With Olivia (RedWit Theatre), Liam in Liam (No Strings Theatre), Grand Hotel (Theatre Sheridan), Gabe in See No Evil (Discovery ID), Billy Ray Taylow in America’s Biggest Mysteries  (Travel Channel).

He would also like to thank the cast for making this production a memorable and enjoyable experience.

Emily Meadows

Emily is feeling euphoric to be “opening doors” alongside wonderful friends. Hailing from Treaty 1 Territory and the homeland of the Métis Nation, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Emily has loved theatre for as long as she can remember. Emily enjoys performing new and established works, some of which include “We All Got Lost” (Hamilton Fringe), “Reefer Madness” (Winnipeg Studio Theatre), “The Cradle Will Rock” (Theatre Sheridan) and touring Eastern Canada with the Charlottetown Young Company musical, “The Dream Catchers”. Emily loves making people laugh and she’s currently trying to learn how at Second City’s Conservatory Programme.

She also holds an Honours Bachelor degree in Music Theatre Performance from Sheridan. Infinite love to all the people on my team!
